Last Things - Eschatology
Imminence - Return of Christ
Matt. 24:44; John 14:3; He will surely come
no doubts. Luke 12:40.
Reject all that believe Jesus will not return
Millennium
My primary belief is that the Lord will return
and the church will be with Him in Heaven for eternity. My millennium
view is as a panmillenniumism it will all pan out in the end. Based
on I need to be aware of His return anytime, not fixating on that
aspect only, busy seeking and doing His will. I tend to favor 1 Thes.
4:16-17; the premillennial dispensationalists position says that
Christ will come back before the millennium.
Reject all views that predict when the millennium will occur.
Rapture - Pre, Mid, or Post
The rapture could occur at any of these time.
I do not care when the rapture occurs, but my preferred is 1 Thes.
4:16-17; The pretribulational viewpoint of rapture occurring first.
Israel's Future
Rom. 11:25-26; all Israel will be saved. Rom.
11:12; Israel added will make a difference. I hold to a dispensational
system of theology: Systematic Theology points out many distinctions
between Israel and the church, even between believing Israel in
the Old Testament and the church in the New Testament. God's purpose
and promises for Israel are for earthly blessings, and they will yet
be fulfilled on this earth at some time in the future.
